Additionally, the branch included the Aeroballistic Research Facility (ARF) for aerodynamic design and dynamic stability derivative analysis of advanced weapons, the Ballistic Experimentation Facility (BEF), and the Electromagnetic Warhead Facility. Initiated new research efforts in electromagnetic enhanced warheads and new hazardous gas treatment techniques at the Electromagnetic Warhead Facility. Maintained $3.5M annual budget and operated over $50M in research and test facilities.
