I am experienced in municipal government since 1982, I have a vast knowledge of the mechanics of municipal government, and I would consider myself a generalist in knowing the many aspects of municipal government. I started my career in a small town moving up to become City Clerk and Treasurer. I moved to Denver to accept a position in Lone Tree where I laterally moved into the Police Department.As the Executive Secretary to the Chief of Police I also assist three Commanders and supervise the Records Technicians. Time management and organizational skills are of utmost importance in my position. In 2013 I was promoted to Support Services Manager for the Lone Tree Police Department. This position is responsible for the business end of the department.I graduated from CSU Global Campus, April, 2012, with a 3.98 GPA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies. In November, 2012 I passed two separate certifications through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). The first is the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), the second is the Organizational Management (OM). Both are a five year certification.My most recent promotion to Support Services Manager will allow me more responsibilities in budgeting and overall operations of the department.
