Consulting Service and Business Development

As a the CBDO Business Development Officer within Union Supply I work beside the other executive functions such the CEO, CFO, and COO. As the CBDO I am expected to lead and direct the company wide sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology and improving processes. Further this position is expected to have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the business of the organization with an eye towards identifying new sales perspectives and driving business growth and requirements for product development that will be coordinated with the Sales Division.Responsibilities include:*Supervise all Sales and Customer Service staff.*Elaborate business development plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market definition. *Facilitate business growth by working together with clients as well as business partners (suppliers, subcontractors, JV partners, technology providers, etc.). *Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective customer and other business and project partners. *Drive prospects through to contract award (including identifying new customers and markets, developing approaches to the market, identifying prospects, proposal preparation, etc.) *Develop marketing strategy, manage proposal teams and client account managers.

As the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) within JPay I worked beside the other executive functions such the CEO and COO. As a CBDO I was expected to have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the business of the organization with an eye towards identifying new sales perspectives and driving business growth and requirements for product development that will be coordinated with Research & Development function.

As the Director of Finance and Administration for the Colorado Department this position acted as the Department's Chief Financial Officer. Other duties included overseeing a broad range of administrative and operational functions for the department: Budget and Finance, Planning and Analysis, Human Resources, Payroll, Risk Management, Training, Correctional Industries, Legal Access, Facility Services, Business Technology, ACA, Medical Operations, Education and Vocational Education, Sex Offender Treatment, Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Intergovernmental Relations.
