Originally from Italy, I graduated in Law and Political Sciences at the University of Barcelona and completed an LL.M. in Taxation at UC3M in Madrid.Although I started my career as a Tax Attorney, I soon joined Uría Menéndez's Environmental Law Department where I spent two years specialising in this field. In November 2022, I started a new position as Environmental & Sustainability Legal Specialist at PwC Belgium.In my work I provide advice on a broad range of environmental matters to multinational corporations in the following sectors: (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical, steel, energy, food, retail, maritime transport, etc. My expertise covers most EU Green Deal policies, including carbon pricing (EU ETS, CBAM, and Carbon Taxes), ESG Due Diligence (Deforestation Regulation, Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, Battery Regulation) sustainability reporting (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and Tax Transparency), circular economy (waste management, EPR, SUP Directive, Plastic Tax, Incineration Tax), IPPC (environmental permits, air & water pollution, and use of natural resources), soil and groundwater contamination, mining regulation and endangered species.
