About L G
after 26 years, i have chosen to retire. I have loved my profession, but after the death of 2 husbands and the changes of medicare and profession- i just cant anymore. I still dream of working with my patients and am so sad - please forgive me- i know i changed and helped so many people-but I just can't fight anymore. I am an OTR with an abundance of experience. When I look at a patient, look to what can be done, not what can't. How can we fix it? If it can't be fixed, how can we get around it? How can we (the patient and I) make things better? I can imagine not being an OT. It isn't just what I do, it is who I am
