Having amassed almost 35 years in the construction industry partly in the UK and mostly here in Australia, I started my career back in 1990 as a fabrication welder, and moved into carpentry & joinery 15 years later. Since 2011 I have been at Claims Central Pty Ltd, employed initially as a Claims Supervisor / Assessor / Estimator. In 2018 I was promoted to a team leader responsible for leading approx 15 - 20 assessors across Australia.Shortly after, I moved into the technical area of Catastrophe Claims across Australia, where I was accountable for managing and assessing significant major events.
