Over the course of more than 20 years, Ron has built a successful career in Non-Profit Leadership. Through his budget control responsibilities and extensive experience in warehouse management, development, and fundraising, Ron has helped to develop budgets and financial planning activities which helped streamline processes to enhance overall productivity and customer satisfaction.After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services from Springfield College in Charleston, SC, Ron was an Assistant Chaplain in the US Airforce during Desert Storm. Upon returning to the US, Ron continued to build his career, and carries a wealth of experience from his time in the food bank industry. Working many diverse positions that included two major hurricanes and their subsequent fall-out shows his experience navigating the ever-changing environment that can affect food banks and resulting food insecurity within these communities. In May 2020 Ron became the President & CEO of the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle in Raleigh, NC. Here he continues to serve his community, speaking on behalf of those underserved, improving their quality of life through transformational programs and services. As an experienced leader, he is skilled at developing, optimizing, motivating, and leading highly effective work teams.
