Working on designing and fabrication of electrode materials and tuning various electrolytes for Lithium-ion Batteries. Analysis of graphite-based anode materials and lithium-rich cathode materials on their composition change and phase transition during C/DC cycle. In-situ XRD and neutron diffraction method used to study the changes observed during cycling. Experienced on interpretation of XPS and EXAFS data.

As a postdoctoral researcher, I worked on synthesis of Graphene-Metal sulfide and Graphene-Metal oxide hybrid nanostructures by the hydrothermal method, for supercapacitor devices (pouch type and laminate type). Experienced on the preparation of hybrid films on SS substrate, by the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) technique.Having experience on handling and data interpretation of XRD, FE-SEM, EDX, Raman, UV-Vis, FT-IR, Electrochemical work station (3-electrode system) etc.Taught a course on "Semiconductor materials and devices" for master students as a Part-time faculty for one semester, Jan-June 2017.

As a postdoctoral researcher, I focused my research on fabrication of MW and SW CNTs flexible freestanding paper, Buckypaper. The applications are for thermoelectrics, photo-current generation (solar-energy conversion) and absorption of EM radiation (microwave absorption) using the CNT buckypaper.Preparation of Metals and Metal alloy dispersed MWCNT Buckyper and their physical properties analysis.Taught a course on "Introduction of MEMS" for Master students in English, at Dept. of Electrical Eng. as a Assistant professor for 2 academic years, 2013-2015.

Carried out my research as a PhD scholar at Center for nanoscience and technology for optoelectronic applications.Synthesis of pure and doped cadmium sulfide nanomaterials, with controlled morphology using polymer capping.Morphological, structural and optical properties of lanthanides (Eu, Ce, Sm, Nd) doped CdS nanostructures for electroluminescent device applications.Cobalt doped CdS nanocrystals for dilute magnetic semiconductor (DMS) applications.

Worked on synthesis of mesoporous silica SBA-15. Synthesis of template free mesostructures of cadmium sulfide (CdS), copper sulfide (CuS) using SBA-15 as hard template, by the method of simple solvothermal process. Analysis of synthesized metal sulfides for photocatalytic and supercapacitor applications.Experienced on handling materials characterization techniques, XRD, UV-Vis, FE-SEM, EDX, Raman, TGA, Particle-size analyzer, BET-N2 adsorption, TEM, etc.Filed and published a Japanese patent on "Mesoporous CuS as efficient electrode for supercapacitors".
