Assist the state team (DPH Govt.of Tamil Nadu) in identifying district-specific needs and identifying challenges during the implementation of the project; assist in planning, designing, and identifying city-specific needs and challenges during the implementation of CEM for the assigned city.Support urban health facilities in conducting situational analysis, resource mapping and identification of issues.Liasoning with State Immunization Officer (SIO), City Medical Officer (CMO), ACMO, ZMO, MO and MCHO and getting approval for conducting program in the project location. Prepare a database for resource mapping, and vulnerability mapping in order to maximize the use of existing resources to overcome urban area challenges.Assist in organizing capacity-building workshops at the district/city level for process improvements like microplanning, supportive supervision, monitoring, data recording and reporting, identification of high- risk areas, sharing feedback etc.Participate in monthly/quarterly review meetings in the urban health facilities for review, capacity building, and advocacy for process improvement in RI.In conjunction with SPM and ULBs, plan for demand generation activities specific to high-risk areasUndertake supportive supervision and regular session site monitoring of Routine immunization.Facilitate the organization of camps for awareness generation; leverage important community sites such as prayer sites, schools, and festival locations for counselling; and monitor the quality of vaccination services delivered in the areas.Work in close coordination with the state team and project partners to identify areas for intensive advocacy and social mobilization for strengthening urban immunization.Support RI awareness activities and strengthen the functioning of vaccination sites in public health facilities as and when required.Supervise the Community Mobilizers allied with the JSI Sub-Awardee team.Conducted BeSD assessment survey.

• Responsible for providing effective techno-managerial support for efficient working of the Government Medical Store Depot, GoI (GMSD) focused on supporting logistics of COVID vaccines, inventory control and other support functions related to vaccine logistics. • Actively support and manage stock checking of COVID vaccines in the respective GMSDs, receive vaccines from the manufactures and dispatch of COVID vaccine supplies to the receiving regional or state stores. • Provide technical support to GMSD support staff, government officials and other stakeholders at the GMSD level, in managing vaccine inventory and ensure quality, efficacy, proper tracking, and reporting of vaccine supplies in coordination with procurement and supply chain personnel. • Provide support in recording stock information both online & offline in the inventory and information systems, preparing indents, schedules of deliveries and facilitate delivery of the COVID vaccines to the other stores. • Provide support in collating and analyzing data on various COVID vaccines at the GMSD level both online & offline. • Assist in strengthening appropriate cold chain and logistics requirements, including reverse logistics.

• Planning and execution of all activities related to eVIN implementation in the designated district, in close coordination with district DIO. • Support the work of Cold Chain Handlers (CCH) at District Vaccine Store (DVS) and cold chain points in improving timely stock entries and their online visibility, including temperature performance of cold chain equipment.• Support the District Immunization Officer (DIO) in all the activities pertaining to vaccine logistics and cold chain management in the district.• Support the DIO in organizing review meetings of Cold Chain Handlers (CCH).• Develop vaccine collection and distribution cycle and ensure its implementation with support from District Vaccine Store (DVS) in-charge.• Ensure all transactions (issue, receipt, discard, transfer etc.) of vaccines and syringes are entered in the eVIN system.• Review the online data entry of all vaccine and syringes transactions on daily basis and ensure regular & timely updating from all cold chain points. • Regular analysis of consumption patterns, wastage rates, monthly reports etc. supporting DIO in taking corrective actions. • Monitor cold chain performance through remote temperature loggers and ensure prompt response to temperature excursions at cold chain points across the district.• Prepare periodic status reports, case studies, etc. in a qualitative and timely manner.• Conduct training sessions for CCH and plan for refresher trainings and trainings of newly recruited staff • Supportive supervision of CCH in effective vaccine logistics and cold chain management including temperature recording and handling. • Identify capacity-building needs on eVIN and undertake capacity-building activities district level for different levels of health professionals and field-level functionaries, facilitate learning exchanges.

• Conducting training to government staff on Cold Chain and Vaccine Logistics Management and eVIN Mobile application.• Assisting the Senior Project Officer, Project officer and Vaccine & Cold Chain Manager in the development of training plans and their implementation.• Helping in the maintenance of a database of trainers and other resource persons.• Assisting in organizing two-day technical trainings at the district levels.• Undertaking field visits for the conduct of trainings.• Supporting the Senior Project Officer, Project Officers, Vaccine and Cold Chain Managers & Administrative Officer in making arrangements for training venues, training kits, meals, disbursement of TA/DA/HA claims of participants, etc.• Preparation of training reports in respect of each training conducted.• Conducting workshop evaluation and assessing the efficacy of training methodologies.• Performing any other tasks related to planning and implementation of capacity building.

Providing training to - District Education Officers, Principals & Govt. School HMs.• Liaison with district CEO (Chief Education Officer) and DC (District Coordinator) for approvals and guidance on ZIIEI Training.• Coordinate with BRC Supervisor (Block Resource Centre) for ZIIEI training schedule confirmation.• To help teachers develop better teaching and educating skills.• Providing training to government and government aided school Teachers on moral values and Zero Investment Innovation for Education Initiative (ZIIEI) ideas to implement their respective schools and collecting innovative teaching methods from Teachers.• Visit to Govt and Govt. aided schools to follow up the ZIIEI idea implementation process in these schools.• Attended national level conference in Delhi.
