Happily employed at Designscape Horticultural Services as an Account Manager. I am a very self aware person with big picture direction and in the weeds focus. DISC wise I am highly agreeable and social and when I become comfortable my competitiveness comes out as drive to accomplish tasks "better" whatever those metrics may be. I prefer to work in groups where hierarchy is established (striving to be where I think I'm most effective in the hierarchy), however, I need time to plan and process on my own. Others often describe me as friendly and genuinely caring, smart, "will give it his all," and "a good guy."I've worked in many fields. Here are a few things I've learned from each. As an EMT different jobs will provide different job satisfaction. I can easily feel I helped people the most intimately and significantly as an EMT. However, great job satisfaction doesn't necessarily mean a great life. The inverse was learned when I was a truck driver. I got paid to travel and managed my own work schedule to work hard and travel well. But in the end I was missing community. At Zoo'Opolis Exotic Petting World, I learned humility and without the blessing from higher management, it's tremendously difficult to make change. At Designscape I have been blessed to be working with the kindest crew of employees I've ever experienced. We truly are a "Family" business. How could I help your business? My experience has molded me to become someone excellent at process management, training and motivation. Starting with the big picture (often core values, or vision for the business, mission), how does that fit into this specific situation, detail, decision; building leadership through consistent action towards being better. In training, I've designed reminder cards for equipment maintenance, how-to sheets for new employees, and organized inventory so that more than the parts master knows where to find things. All of this focused on standardizing processes for a business with high turnover.
