As a Staff Manager in the Human Services Department, my main goal is to ensure team members and contractors are set up for success in their roles and have the support to excel. I play a key part in the new employee onboarding and training process which includes thorough trainings of internal processes, tips for success, and what to expect in the first few months. I also facilitate trainings on a regular basis with tenured team members and contractors this way everyone is up to date on any changes within the organization and consistently aware of expectations.

In this role with the state, I was responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the state. I also worked closely with Contractors and provided them with detailed instruction on policies, requirements, and expectations. I also facilitated trainings on a regular basis.

During my employment as a FAA I and FAAII, I collaborated with department wide staff and other agencies to facilitate training presentations that were used statewide to move the state to a paperless system using ImageNow Software. I was available to provide technical assistance to ensure optimal performance and prompt imaging of documents. Additionally I was appointed as the New Mexico Records Liasion to maintain archive documents and remain compliant with the policies regarding thedestruction of records.
