Leading and Guiding a 10.5 thousand square foot Biomedical Research Support Facility during a time of growth and expansion in both Federal grant supported research and husbandry staffing numbers, including the mentoring and onboarding of an Assistant Manager role. Supporting and championing growth initiatives including grant pursuit ($250k), equipment modernization/requisition, and program restructuring.Also serve as the IACUC Administrator, managing all administrative functions of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) in conjunction with the IACUC Chair.

Lead animal husbandry team in support of Medical Device safety research.Implemented Capacity Modeling project to successfully drive efficiency

Profitably directed the Alpha Genesis satellite facility in the upgrade of multiple animal housing units while providing site program leadership resulting in expansion of staff in support of program growth as a result of $7mil in grants in 2021 and resulting in profits around $15million.

Effectively lead the migration project of the entire animal research program to the new 20,000 square foot state of the art Mossman Life Sciences facility and worked with Administration to develop and implement the brand new ABSL2 suite, within three months of starting this position.

Successfully helped guide FSU's faculty research support program forward with the establishment of an Academic Research and Grants support office, while serving as their Research Animal Facility Manager.Developed and implemented a Animal Laboratory Safety Program in conjunction with the University Laboratory Safety Director.
