Ms. Labarca is a geologist from the Universidad de Chile, specialized in hydrogeology. She has over 22 years of experience in issues related to mine drainage and prospecting of groundwater supply, and is an expert in simulation models of groundwater flow. In the area of geotechnical mining, she has a solid understanding of drainage aspects of fractures in underground and open pit mines, in addition to pressure pores in rock mass. She has experience with design and construction supervision of pumping wells and observation piezometers, pumping tests, hydrochemistry, geophysical methods applied to hydrogeology, hydraulic testing, drainage and legal consulting with regards to water rights. She has knowledge in hydrological data management and basin balances. She is a Head of Hydrogeology Area in SRK Chile since 2007. Member of AUSIMM since February, 2010, AIH, ALHSUD and Geologist Collegue.
