I worked with various teams and managed the financial, compliance, and administration activities of federal, state, and local grants, including the FAA's Airport Improvement Program (AIP), American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and Coronavirus Response Relief Supplemental Appropriation (CRRSA) Act grants, and State of Ohio grants, and JobsOhio grants. I have also managed compliance and reimbursement for DEA, FBI, and the State of Ohio contracts. I also performed PFC fund reconciliation and assisted in the financial modeling of PFC fund availability for upcoming capital projects, resulting in accurate forecasting. I worked on various projects, including co-developing the pass-through grant reimbursement plan for CRAA's FAA American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Concessionaire grant. This project secured funds for CRAA's concessionaire tenants at John Glenn International and Rickenbacker Columbus airports. Also, I was the Grants Workstream Lead for the ERP implementation project and assisted in transitioning awards financial management to Workday. My responsibilities included leading data conversion, testing, training, and revising and documenting business processes.

I managed pre- and post-award activities for a portfolio of principal investigators (PIs) and cancer researchers. Working closing with the PIs and their research teams, I provided fiscal planning and management of extramural research grants: multi-year budget development, budget monitoring and forecasting, recurring reporting, reconciliation, and variance analysis. Leveraging WorkDay, I also reviewed and authorized expenditures and oversaw personnel appointments and adjustments. Throughout the grant management process, I coordinated deliverables across stakeholders and ensured compliance with sponsor, University and third party regulations.

I led a dream development team that focused on developing and implementing a multichannel, integrated fundraising plan for a $2.65 million operating budget for the SF Bay area nonprofit WildCare. During my tenure, as the development director, we increased stewardship through smart segmentation, workflows and coordinated campaigns, ramped up prospect research and wrangled our CRM for accurate data analysis. Notably, during and after the Covid quarantine, the team we doubled down on appeals and outreach to our amazing community of supporters and took on virtual and hybrid events including our Annual WildCare Gala and our popular Talons Festival.Our efforts paid off: donor retention increased, the recurring gifts program grew to be healthier than ever and donors steadily moved up the donor pyramid, giving more year over year.

I earned a promotion after a successful turn as Grants Manager. During this short time, I focused on implementing multichannel marketing and solicitation strategies to drive workplace and employer matching donations. Due to these efforts, matching gifts total grew 124% over two years (Sept 2018 - Sept 2020).

I led all pre- and post-awards for primary and matching grants for special projects, operations, and the capital campaign. I focused on deepening our sponsor relationships and establishing workflows and information management systems across departments for better expenditure tracking, compliance, and reporting.
