Maryland Family Network is the State Coordinating Entity for the Maryland Child Care Resource Network. With funding from the Maryland State Department of Education, MFN provides grant management and oversight to the child care resource centers serving the State. Through this grant, MFN also provides free child care resource and referral services to families seeking child care for children through the LOCATE: Child Care program.

In this role, I provided grant coordination and program monitoring to support the overall function of the state-awarded grant as part of the State Coordinating Entity team. during this, I developed and implemented (in consultation with IT firm) a data collection system specific to the program needs of grant recipients with ongoing user supports, report development, and system design. I also established protocols and procedures for CCRC agencies to ensure compliance with federal and state grant funding requirements to develop and deliver professional development and coaching to early care and education programs.

In this role, I was the lead on the development and implementation of training and professional development opportunities to meet the diverse needs of adult learners working in early care and education settings. I participated in workgroups to develop of training workshops and design local and state plans and protocols. As the lead on the training team, I collaborated on the planning of the annual conference for approximately 300 attendees. To ensure diverse training opportunities, I identified consultants to support professional development across a vast range of topics. I also provided support to the program manager with grant proposals, budget development, and services analysis. • Supervise the Registrar/Training Assistant and approximately 15 contracted trainers

Provide administrative support to the General Counsel and assist the Human Resources Counsel on all aspects of company employment and employees. Responsibilities include: Assist with FLSA, OSHA, FMLA and employment authorization compliance; assist in identification, development and dissemination of company policies; manage personnel files according to federal law and record retention and disposal policy; coordinate employment paperwork processing with Payroll Manager; coordinate job opening ad text and placement with hiring manager; monitor multiple employee information records
