Hi I'm Lacey! I’m a Full Stack developer skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, I obtained my certification through the University of Texas coding bootcamp. I am currently employed as a Lead Developer and QA Manager with Conversion Fanatics where I create and maintain A/B tests for clients to maximize their conversion rate and revenue using platforms such as Convert, Adobe Target and Optimizely. In addition to writing and deploying code, I have taken on additional responsibilities in the QA process which has allowed me to see new perspectives while working through problems with my peers. I often coordinate with other developers to find solutions, which has strengthened my communication skills as a leader.Before starting my journey into the world of coding, I had many experiences on the other side of the spectrum as a small business owner. I owned and operated a coffee shop outside of Austin. It was tough, tiring and frustrating. More importantly, it was very rewarding. I learned to solve problems, often on the fly. I drank awesome coffee (definitely a perk) and I met people on all walks of life, which taught me the value of human connection. I experienced the importance of communication, persistence and clarity. I learned that you can truly do anything if you try hard enough. When I'm not working on code or design, I'm typically hanging out with my family and dogs, playing laser tag, kayaking, or cooking. I love reading, music, photography and making lists! I am an INFJ actively trying to understand the ways of extroverts.
