As a team leader, I am in charge of managing a team of 3 direct reports. In addition to leading by art directing and mentoring them, I also help them set and attain their professional goals. My role mainly consists of designing campaigns and art directing their execution by working with copywriters, animators and other designers. Updating and maintaining brand standards is also a vital part of my current role.

I started my own Freelance Graphic Design business called Adaptive Creative Co. I have enjoyed taking on the role of account manager in addition to the designer role I am accustomed to. I have worked with various clients around the country in projects ranging from illustration, video, invitation/print design, creating websites, package design, brand development and digital advertising.

Worked at American Fidelity for 3 months on a contract through Teksystems. While there, I worked independently on multiple projects. Dealt mainly with print design and HTML/CSS.

Worked independently and as a team in brainstorm meetings, branding and campaigns. Mainly worked with web banners, outdoor advertising, print ads, social media ads/graphics and branding. Some experience with video production, photography, animation and copywriting.

I helped shoot, edit and sort photos, as well as handle and transport photography equipment.

Typography, page layout, photo editing, creating vector graphics, creating animated gifs, choosing paper and PMS colors, prepress, and making people laugh :)
