In addition to running an educational children's YouTube channel about reptiles, I also take our reptile family members to schools, corporate functions, birthday parties, and other local events to teach others about animals and conservation. I love to make learning fun and get people excited about these underrated animals!

I have recently finished my first children's book, Savannah Sleeper is a Troubled T-Rex, and I am currently staying at home raising my wonderful son. I am also a consultant for Usborne Books and More and own my own reptile party and education company.

The Red Cliffs Desert Reserve is a 62,000 acre area in Washington County Utah that was set aside over 20 years ago for the protection of sensitive species in the area, including the Mojave desert tortoise. I managed and ran the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve Visitor Center and also the Outreach program and Outreach volunteer program. I created and delivered educational talks to schools, scout troops, HOAs, and other groups throughout the county. These talks involved handling critters such as our desert tortoises and snake. We also had a Gila monster, tarantula, and scorpion in the center. In addition to all the social media, promotion, and marketing for the Reserve, I also took care of all the administrative work for the Reserve and the Visitor Center. It was a wonderful opportunity to us my many different skills and see how much I could really juggle at once.
