Serves as a liaison between Dr. Patterson’s practice and future, current and former patients.• Manage OR schedule by booking all surgical procedures and minor procedures at appropriate facility• Coordinate preop/testing/consults/evaluations to ensure patients able to move forward with procedure• Ensure Novari Surgical System is monitored and managed and patients are properly entered with supporting documentation attached• Coordinate marketing promotions/events (planning, décor, ordering, execution of event)• Manage office calendar ensure clinics are booked, office OR scheduled correctly• Perform opening and closing duties for the Surgery Centre• Arrange all incoming and outgoing referrals • Review and prepare all patient files in preparation for clinic, prepare surgical consents/packages

Administrative• Coordinates busy bi-weekly clinic for Urologist• Organizes procedures, test and appointments for patients• Liaises with patients, family physicians, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services• Problem solves and maintains professionalism under pressure• Developed professional relationships with surgeons, residents and hospital staff• Performs administrative duties such as processing correspondence, faxing, copying and filing• Transcribed dictations at 50 wpmResearch• Develops and maintains Access and Excel databases capturing surgical outcomes• Creates data sheets and manages incoming data• Prepares Research Ethics Board Applications, Annual Renewal Reports, Serious Adverse Event Reports • Draft correspondence to study participants• Reviews and reconciles study account spreadsheets
