Lacey Pohlman is a Professional Organizer at Simply Placed at Simply Placed. Lacey has so much experience behind her that she knows the strategies, the products, and the motivational tips to put useful, expandable systems into place—in the least amount of space. We all want to make smart, strategic decisions, which Lacey, with her experience, helped me do. In my filing system, she told me what was smart to keep (e.g. for tax purposes), and for how long, and what was not. We also broke down the filing system into more detailed categories, which has made finding items much easier than in the past. With photos and mementos, Lacey helped me again create smaller subcategories, with storage places for each. She also helped me purchase storage systems for my kids’ artwork that won’t be busting at the seams in a few years. There’s something to be said, too, for having someone there to help you sort through the piles of stuff. It felt overwhelming on my own, but with Lacey helping, it took less than half the time it would’ve on my own, and she shared tips on organizing as we went along.
