I conducted inbound/outbound conversations to qualify prospective students for our Associate degree program offerings, helping them understand Outlier's value in achieving their academic goals or providing counseling and redirection if our programs weren't the right fit. I demonstrated exceptional customer service, maintained organizational standards, and consistently provided timely follow-up. I continuously sought ways to improve workflow and enhance the prospective student experience.

I responded promptly and professionally to student inquiries, exceeding key productivity and quality metrics. I collaborated with fellow Support Specialists on critical tasks and applied critical thinking to identify tailored solutions for students who were struggling academically or experiencing technical issues within their courses. I was (and still am!) a dedicated advocate for students, proposing process improvements to enhance team efficiency and student outcomes.

An adaptable team player, I seamlessly transitioned to a Recruiting Operations Specialist role for 6 months during the early pandemic, showcasing my versatility and flexibility. I assisted with new employee orientation, onboarding, interviewer training, and transitioning our interview process and candidate experience to be fully remote.

I provided academic counseling, responded to inquiries, and advised students on the competitive CSE admission process. I presented information sessions to prospective students, participated in admissions decisions, and managed updates to the department website related to undergraduate programs.

I facilitated a seamless onboarding experience for new UW Medicine employees, conducted reference checks, and screened top candidates. I tracked essential employee information and assisted in recruiting software maintenance. I prepared materials for recruitment events and provided general office support, contributing to the overall effectiveness of UW Medicine Human Resources recruitment team.

I managed the hiring, training, and shift scheduling of a team of 15 student staff. I counseled prospective students, responded to inquiries, and participated in admissions decisions. I represented UW at high schools, college fairs, and special programs. I contributed to program improvement and demonstrated flexibility in supporting the overall functioning of the Undergraduate Admissions office.
