From May 20 2019 to June 2 2019, I worked as an intern in San Diego, California for an upcoming apothecary brand, "My Herbal Box." For this internship I worked along with the owners, Mackenzie and Hiba to structure a social media plan. I helped curate strategies for the brand such as a list of relevant influencers to reach, a scheduled post times for the brand to utilize and other apothecaries in the area to research and broaden our network. I also evaluated the best media outlets to use for the brand and how to obtain customers via emails, discounts, Instagram and Facebook ads that match our target audience. This job required hands on experience with the products such as photographing, weighing and sorting. Overall my time with My Herbal Box provided me with extremely valuable lessons on how to market a new brand.
