CurrentManage all fundraising and recognition efforts for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) including a robust and effective campaign strategy for investment and disbursing of funds. Coordinate the candidate evaluation and endorsement process for all county and municipal offices in the MIBOR service area.Manage association regional data-mining efforts including candidate research, policy trending, membership mobilization, campaign engagement, and public opinion polling.Act as a liaison with local elected officials and maintain consistent contact with local political parties to keep a pulse on candidate and election activity.Monitor the public policy arena regarding issues that impact private property rights, homeownership, and community quality of life.Lobby on issues impacting the real estate industry.Coordinate MIBOR GOTV and Call for Action activities to engage members in the political process.Assist with developing and implementing a strategic communication plan to effectively disseminate information internally (members) and externally (partners, elected officials, and the public) about MIBOR’s advocacy efforts and economic and community development initiatives.Identify opportunities to utilize National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) grants to assist with RPAC fundraising, issue mobilization efforts and economic and community development.
