Assist voters at polling table when needed. As Lead Scanner person in charge I'm responsible for setting up voting booths and signs for voters, Close voting booths, close poll on scanners, seal all ballot boxes, turn in all votes, Ensure that envelopes and documents are completed correctly and each one is signed. Record on a log sheet each day, the number of voters that voted on the Electronic Voting Machines, collect ballot numbers from each table, and calculate and organize the final amount of votes so that they are ready to be validated by the clerk’s office.Supervise 10+ poll workers at different sites on Election Day and Early Voting. Assist those who need help working the machines. Work with the Lead Coordinator on assignments, time management, and tabulation of signatures. Operate and maintain equipment during Election Day and Early voting. Notify inspection teams of any irregularities in the machines, behavior, or paperwork. Direct voters to Privacy Booths and Ballot Marking Devices. I give assistance at the office on Adams St and 2 warehouses on 2nd Ave. I do petition canvassing for elections. Follow protocols during Covid-19 at poll sites.
