"You never really know the impact that you have on those around you." - Nikki Bana As an educator, this quote sticks out to me because my goal in life is to make a difference in my community. I strive to create positive impacts on those around me. I believe I have expertise in a variety of different areas that would make me an ideal candidate for virtual assistant and educational technology positions. Currently, I am Special Education Resource Teacher with a focus on Learning Disabilities to fifth and sixth grade students. I have been in this position as a Special Education Teacher for three years where I have gained valuable experiences and skills. My experiences include; organizing files and documents, creating lesson plans, individual educational plans, powerpoint persentations and lesson materials, scheduling meetings, and collaboration with team members. In regards to my skills; I have excellent communication, leadership, analytical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, leadership, scheduling, multi-tasking, and creative-thinking skills. Overall, I have gained success as an educator by creating small positive impacts in my students' lives. My goal and mission is to help others become successful in their lives by providing assistance in the following areas; scheduling, organizational, instructional, communication, and creative writing.
