Oversee payroll processing for 3,000+ employees located in Oregon and Washington. Administrate current HRIS system (Ultipro), including company-wide security roles.Create and schedule auditing processes using UKG's in-system reporting tool, Cognos Business Intelligence.Work closely with HR Director, CEO and company financial officers to keep McMenamins payroll policies and procedures in line with current state and federal laws. Regularly review current compensation structures and policies with senior management to keep in line with local wage trends and business needs. Manage a staff of 8 full-time workers, including 4 Payroll Specialists, 1 Payroll Administrator and 3 Administrative Assistants.

Worked with the Payroll Manager to switch payroll systems from our long-standing system (ADP) to an upgraded system (Ultipro). Helped directly in interviewing, testing and decision making process. Worked closely with the implementation team to audit, test and configure the new system until our go-live date.Specialized duties included garnishment processing, quarterly state reporting (SAIF, L&I and Multi-Worksite) and ADP ReportSmith report building. Ran the processing of a bi-weekly, multi-state payroll.Other duties included entering time cards, PTO requests, troubleshooting employee questions and document requests, entering bonuses, tracking and processing time raises, on-site employee file upkeep, processing new hire paperwork, entering termination information, job changes, address changes, and applying leave status updates within the payroll system.
