As a tax professional focused in the nonprofit tax space for almost 14 years, I help them navigate the compliance filings and complex, ever-changing operational and regulatory tax challenges while they help others in the community and achieve their mission.I am especially passionate about private foundations as well as religious and social service organizations among a variety of other public charities.Despite a tax professor's suggestion to avoid a career in nonprofit, I not only get to do work that I have years of technical experience in but that I also really love. I also get to help train and excite the next generation of professionals! What more could one ask for?
