As the Director of the ATTP, I oversee the growth and development of apprentice teachers through classroom observation, goal-setting, and coaching in service of developing their teaching skills. I am responsible for coordinating in-house workshops for apprentice teachers across all divisions. In addition, it is my job to develop up-to-date observation protocols for use with apprentice teachers. Whenever necessary, I mediate dialogue with lead teachers including regular check-ins troubleshooting any issues between them and their apprentice teachers, involving division heads where appropriate. Finally, I recruit, hire, and place qualified individuals with lead teachers from kindergarten through sixth grade, and focus on the retention of our most qualified apprentices.

Develop instructional texts, assessments, and other materials for start-up and established educational technology companies. Align new and existing content to standards. Create and help implement strategies based on teachers' needs. Create scope and sequence, instructional design and assessments for college-level courses in conjunction with adjunct professors.

Design and implement individualized curriculum in reading, writing and math for middle school aged students with language based learning disabilities. Provide ample opportunities for both social emotional and academic growth based on specific needs of each student. Collaborate with specialists and therapists to help students thrive.

Coach individual and groups of teachers in strategies for incorporating educational technology to address instructional needs and Common Core standards, and to increase student achievement. Collaborate with school instructional leaders to drive the strategic, appropriate, and visionary use of technology in instructional practice, including transforming traditional teaching practices to a Blended Learning model. Measure effectiveness of technology tools in meeting school and teacher achievement goals. Research and evaluate new technology strategies on an on-going basis.
