Initially hired into Boeing as a contractor (2000), I earned a permanent position within less than a year and have progressively advanced through technical, customer-service, data analysis, IT sourcing strategy, procurement and technical leadership roles through my 15 years with the company. In my current role, I serve as a primary sourcing strategist for Boeing’s newly formed IT Sourcing Competency Center. Here, I lead projects to create accurate forecast & demand management processes and to define and establish standard processes within the center.Select Highlights: ✔ Led procurement coordination for a multi-million dollar annual spend with a global supplier across all four IT business units. Managed a significantly higher than average workload by developing and implementing a process that was highlighted as a best practice then adopted across the organization in December 2014.✔ Played a key role in forging cross-functional partnerships across IT, Finance and Supplier Management – relationships that supported strategic decision making and fostered a collaborative work environment.✔ Coordinate and manage supplier relationships throughout the sourcing lifecycle, ensuring that sourcing risks are identified and mitigated, proposals align with industry benchmarks, and work is accomplished using standard project management best practices.

I shifted into a Business Systems Manager position with leadership over the Supply Chain Portals team. Here, I led cross-functional projects and initiatives while training and mentoring colleagues, suppliers and other partners in compliance issues, quality systems and new / existing processes.Select Highlights:✔ Successfully led team through an AD&S (Aerospace, Defense & Security) audit, overseeing both Quality Assurance and Configuration Management.✔ Led a major initiative to standardize and consolidate Access Administration functions within the Information Security organization.The program drove $500M in cost savings in the first year while enhancing security to protect Boeing systems and data from cyber threats such as malware and computer viruses.

Concurrent to my Infrastructure Lead role, I was invited to serve as Technical Services Lead for the mainframe group. Here, I guided a team of developers and support personnel in the design, development, maintenance and integration of ESCI Electronic Data Transfer and Transaction Services technical platforms on IBM mainframes and UNIX servers.
