I completed an internship at Energylink, a company providing a web service for energy andgas usage monitoring. During my internship, my role was to take ownership of a repository ofhelper scripts written by the monitoring team. I cleaned up the disparate scripts, introducedsensible version control and re-wrote all essential functionality into a set of well-documentedand maintainable Python programs.After the conclusion of my internship, I was given a casual position at the company, where Iworked on several projects including streamlining the usage recommendation process, wiringup an alerting service for energy data and writing and deploying an AWS lambda function toautomate the process of generating and sending monthly usage reports to customers.Throughout my time at the company, I worked within an Agile Development framework,attended daily stand-ups, wrote comprehensive test suites and implemented build pipelinesto support continuous integration and deployment.
