Currently involved at the Iron Baron mining operation ensuring safety, efficiency and profitability, in line with mine plan, project and client specifications, relevant regulations and legislation.Duties and responsibilities include:· Ensuring the profitability of assigned project.· Production targets achieved.· Strategies implemented to minimize cost and maximize profit.· Reports on pricing and budget to senior management.· Ensure productivity and utilization of assigned plant and equipment.· Compliance with relevant policies and procedures.· Manage assigned contractual obligations.· Preparation and submission of monthly project progress claim.· Ensure all variations are logged and costed appropriately· With Mine Production Superintendents, allocate resources for cost effective and efficient operations.· Prepare various daily, weekly and monthly project reports · Ensure collation and preparation of QA documentation· Gather data, analyse and report on findings to drive change and improve productivity and efficiency across site operations.· Work with other technicians and operational staff at site to achieve project outcomes.
