• I have gained valuable experience in a range of molecular biology techniques to aid the detection of antibodies and the presence of infectious diseases• Learned how to maintain quality control records, make up internal controls for the experiments that I perform, calibrate machines for new lot numbers of reagents, as well as analysing results and reporting patient medical information to doctors• The most valuable lesson that I have gained from this job is how to optimise my workflow and manage my time when I have a large workload of tests to run so that I’m able to efficiently report results to doctors and patients

Worked as a Patient Support Officer at RBWH during the start of the pandemic to ensure hygiene standards at the hospital were maintained.
