Mechanical Design Engineer
July - August 2022, worked as a full-time Junior/Intern CAD Engineer at CarbonRidge, creating CAD models of their preliminary marine-based carbon-capture/carbon-storage unit for large shipping vessels. In September, 2022, I was hired with highly-expanded design responsibilities to complete the FEL-1 and begin FEL-2 specs, accommodating size and power constraints. In summer 2023, I worked full-time, beginning the FEL-2 CAD model, in use as basis for detailed engineering and manufacturing. - Created P&ID chemical drawings (CAE tools)- Analyzed heat exchangers and chemical processes with ASPEN.- Began work on FEL-2 for the expanded phase 2 of the unit design.In 2024, I lead the preliminary design of their unit scale up; increasing output 50x.
