I have now been part of Satu Bumi for over five years and it has been an amazing journey through the initial start-up of the business through to its current mature state. Satu Bumi is a low cost, Indonesian based manufacturer of high quality Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) garden décor and lifestyle furniture products. We have approximately 220 staff and with the recent addition of a new 1,200 square meter ancillary factory we now have well in excess of 10,000 square meters (approximately 100,000 square feet) of production, warehousing, showroom, administration and logistics space at our facilities in Yogyakarta. I completed a commerce degree with Deakin University (Geelong, Australia) which included a year at Keele University in the UK as part of an international study abroad program. Prior to Satu Bumi I worked in a number of finance, administration and customer service roles. Therefore, my academic, international and practical commercial experience have provided an excellent basis for me taking on the role of Finance & Administration Manager with Satu Bumi.Customer service is an important part of Satu Bumi’s business plan and I am pleased to be part of the company’s administration infrastructure that supports quality customer service.
