I am an experienced for-purpose leader with demonstrated ability to lead high-functioning teams to create impact in education, youth development, volunteer, and community development programs. My strengths include team leadership, deep knowledge of child safety practices, practical experience of program monitoring & evaluation, strong understanding of best practice volunteer engagement, and proven experience managing diverse and cross-cultural teams to deliver programs, projects and events.Through my work I am seeking to create positive impact in our community and have a particular focus on creating a fairer and more inclusive society. I intend to continue to lead positive change within the for-purpose sector, through senior leadership roles, such as leading a for-purpose organisation or a senior management role in a large not-for-profit. My experiences over the last decade have included:- Managing Cathy Freeman Foundation's national program delivery and leading a team of 20 employees, for five months as acting Programs Director- Leading the community campaign for Yes 23 in electorate of Macnamara, involving managing and coordinating of almost 1100 volunteers, which resulted in a successful yes vote of 64.6%, the seventh highest result in Australia.- Driving Ardoch's child safety improvement project and achieving ChildWise accreditation- Leadership team member at Ardoch, helping to strategically lead the organisation to achieve our purpose and vision.- Overseeing the engagement of ~1000 volunteers annually for past three years at Ardoch through education programs.- Over five years at the Cathy Freeman Foundation (CFF) managing program delivery and staff across Queensland, including growth of programs and expansion doubling our footprint.- Three years as an Assistant Chief Commissioner for Scouts Victoria, overseeing weekly program for 16,000 young people, and representing Victoria in development of a modernised Scouting program.- Completing a Master of International Development Practice, achieving high distinctions for all subjects and reestablishing the Monash International Development Practice Association as President - Leading a team of 20 Leaders/committee members at Fitzroy Scout Group to deliver free weekly programs for young people living in public housing, including raising over $100,000 from grants and fundraisers over four years to fund the programs.- Received two not-for-profit scholarships from Australian Scholarship Foundation to attend training on leadership development and project management.
