I've spent most of my career connecting with people while also utilizing critical thinking and executing desired outcomes. I'm a self starter, a strong listener and I'm always asking questions to gain more knowledge. While I transition out of being a stylist, I think there is so much experience that I have that will translate over into the healthcare field. I have no doubt my first career has set me up to be the best that I can be for my next.As a stylist of 20 years, I've gained the majority of my professional experience behind the chair at independent salons. I am highly motivated and take strong pride in my work. I've learned technical skills such as cutting and coloring, technology skills in how to customize booking apps to work specifically how I need them, organizational skills by running my own business and keeping 200+ clients organized, but most importantly, I've developed very strong communication and relationship management skills. As a professional today, I believe communication is one of the most important traits you can possess. I can sit down with someone one on one and ask the questions that need to be asked to make sure that I am on the same page with them to achieve common goals. I can make sure that my thoughts and plans are well thought out and delivered to make sure that I don't leave anyone guessing about my goals, intentions and work ethic.
