About Laci Young
I grew up in Lawton, but moved away due to military life. I returned home in 2016 and was so excited to see how far Lawton had come. I instantly wanted to be a part of the change. I love being involved in the community when and where I can. I have a passion for helping others, seeing our community grow and be a better place for families. I am always blown away when people say there is nothing to do here because there is so much going on! I love to share local events and activities in hopes that more of the people in our community will learn about them and they will continue to be successful! Prior to coming home I spent many years at home raising my little ones and when I went back to work I worked at a Catholic School and a school on post. When we returned home I went back to work in the elementary setting. Eventually I found a calling into ministry where I have served about 4yrs as a youth Director at a local church and then eventually felt called to start my own non profit for local youth in the community. It has been one of the most amazing experiences. I went to work with Farmers insurance a year ago after learning more about them through community events. I loved the passion that Angelas team brought to our community and how often they were involved. I couldn’t wait to be a part of their team and find more ways to serve and help others! I also serve as a board member with Events by Our Team, an active member of Mountain Metro Ambucs and Lawton Business Woman!
