In my role as a Legal Research Intern, I was responsible for conducting comprehensive legal research on a range of topics, spanning from political subdivisions across Ohio to consumer fraud matters. I was tasked to meticulously locate and analyze relevant case law and statutes to address inquiries related to state and federal rules, policies, budgets, and procedures. This involved assessing applicability and providing essential support for both substantive and procedural legal issues that impact political subdivisions. A significant aspect of my role was to communicate my research findings effectively, whether through written reports or oral presentations. Collaborating closely with clerical staff was pivotal to ensure that deadlines were met and projects proceeded seamlessly. Beyond research, I was entrusted with handling critical legal documents, including cases, transcripts, and notes, which often required careful documentation. One of the enriching opportunities provided was the chance to observe court proceedings firsthand. This exposure enabled insight into the practical application of legal concepts and procedures.My experience as a Legal Research Intern at the Ohio Office of the Attorney General equipped me with practical legal insights, research prowess, and an understanding of the inner workings of legal processes.

For 3 months, I completed an Arabic Project Global Officer Program. PGO is a Defense Critical Language Program by the Department of Defense that selects qualified ROTC cadets to become proficient in strategic languages like Russian, Chinese or Arabic. I completed 14 transferable credits, 2 with the University of Montana, and the remaining 12 in Amman, Jordan at the Modern Arabic Language International Center (MALIC). I reached the proficiency level of Advanced Low, and studied both colloquial dialect and modern standard Arabic.

As Student Body President, I was responsible for leading school assemblies/meetings, liaising with the administration, marketing, and advancement departments, along with implementing school initiatives such as the Student Advocacy Board.

In this job, I received practical experience working in an office setting. I filed paperwork and wrote newsletters, emails, and public statements. I often made calls to companies and clients, and gained experience using excel, canvas, and MS office.
