Serve as Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and principal contact between the government and the university. Maintain and monitor SEVIS system fulfilling all compliance and student record maintenance for 12 F-1 campus locations. Advise international student prospects, students, and Worldwide campus staff and serve as liaison between students and staff to US government agencies including USCIS and the Department of State.

♦Primary contact for admission, advising, and support for 100+ International student population on campus. Effectively communicates complex Immigration regulation to F-1 and M-1 student visa holders to ensure the student maintains his or her status with the Dept. of Homeland Security.♦Organize and present at college information fairs and community events in Volusia/Flagler county as well as international recruiting efforts such as the annual Nassau, Bahamas College Fair.♦Created a more effective in-person international orientation and communication plan for continuing international students, including a quarterly electronic newsletter.♦Collects timely data and maintains international student records in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).♦ Responsible for the admission of college credit and adult education students; cross-trained in the higher education areas of Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts.♦Participates in the professional admissions and advising community to strengthen professional knowledge base and to reinforce Daytona State College name recognition.

♦Works with 50+ clients/advertising agencies/human resource specialists in recruitment advertising for Classified and Retail newspaper publications and online products distributed in Volusia and Flagler Counties. ♦Experienced in cold-calling and generating new business as well as maintaining and upselling employment contracts to major businesses and organizations in the community such as hospitals, colleges, and local government. Meets or exceeds sales quotas of 90k+ per month.
