I have a background in sales for AT&T that progressed into a career in the entertainment industry working in artist development and executive management for Dallas Austin, Rowdy Records, and DARP Inc. This experience allowed me to develop my interpersonal and communication skills, as well as grow my network in the vibrant Atlanta music scene and music industry. Realizing I've had my fair share of entrepreneurial ventures without enough capital or knowledge to make it very far, I have decided to transition to Tech and B2B sales. In the past, I've stuck with mainly small business and B2C sales which I think will help the transition. I've spent the last two months taking a thorough and intensive online course in technology sales development.Through this process, I've been introduced to reading some fantastic sales and personal development books from authors likes of Dale Carnegie to Sun Tzu. I've read books like "How to Win Friends and Influence People", "Fanatical Prospecting", and "and SPIN Selling". All of which I'd like to turn from knowledge to practical skill. I've learned skills like researching new prospects, cold outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn), and running a discovery call using SPIN & BANT. I've also learned how to utilize CRMS like Salesloft, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info Sales Data, and Apollo sales data software.I'm currently working with a company start-up called Ape Beverages where I serve as our Regional Sales Lead for the SouthEast Market with Atlanta being our primary location. Ape Beverages is a sustainable natural spring water company that sells canned water. Currently, we are working to exceed internal goals for account acquisition and new business until our full-on merger with Georgia Crown Distribution.
