At the Frederick Gunn School, the Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion works collaboratively as a member of a large team of dedicated adults to emphasize the school's committment to pluralism (rather than tolerance), and sees efforts to build diverse, equitable, and inclusive communities and curricula as critical to the school's work with students. The director is responsible for critically evaluating current programs with a vision to how the school can move forward as an institution in furthering this mission.- In partnership with the administrative Leadership Team and Senior team, led DEI-based programming for students and faculty- Led Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Executive Team, to coordinate and drive strategic direction of DEI at the Frederick Gunn School- Communicated with Board of Trustees via DEI-specific board report every quarterProvided support and structure to the Board's DEI Committee and the committee chair.- Scaffolded rebranding discussions amongst FGS’s alumni of color.- Facilitated conversations on Alumni of Color Action Plan to develop an inclusive and equitable school.- Developed curricula, brought speakers, led teams designed to carry out monthly and yearly programmatic goals.

The Director of Student Activities, in collaboration with the Dean of Students Office, designs and implements a rigorous set of activities for students to engage in on the weekends and over some breaks. In keeping with the mission of the DOS, these activities will work to support the development of a thriving campus community, be student-centered and student-driven, be creative and differentiated, and support the larger vision and mission of The Gunnery through deliberative collaboration and support of the outdoor program and community service. The Director of Student Activities will be a part of regular DOS meetings to review upcoming events, evaluate past events, and collaborate on upcoming residential programming, including and not limited to Community Weekends and Class Trips. This position also has responsibility for planning annual events such as the Orientation Games, the opening Saturday night all-school event, Clash of the Colors, the Semi-Formal Dance, the Prom, Spring Carnival, and other full community events as needed.In addition, this position will lead regular meetings of the Student Activity Committee and collaborate with the Alumni & Development office to support initiatives led by parents, including, but not limited to, dorm dinners, exam goody bags, and other initiatives. The person in this position will also focus on specialized outreach and programming for day students and their families.

Football has had a long-standing and rich tradition at The Frederick Gunn School. Mr. Gunn believed that athletics played a significant role in a student’s personal development. He felt, as I do, that physical fitness, leadership, character, and integrity are the essential attributes towards which all Frederick Gunn School student-athletes should aspire.As the head football coach for the Frederick Gunn School, I coached three 6-game seasons, both maintaining a .500 season or better. The 2022 and 2023 seasons both yielded winning records, both ending with 4-2 at the end of the season.

An assistant head of campus at the Wolfeboro Camp School includes but not limited to:1. Be the liaison between the advisors and Campus Heads2. Be a support system for the advisor3. Facilitate activities and events of students on, off, and around campus while keeping attitudes positive and productive.4. Assume the position of advisor or campus head in the absence of someone in either station5. Lead daily meetings to monitor the progression of the the student body, campus life, or advisor(s) on a day-by-day basis.6. Lead off-campus trips, which includes establishing a working schedule for advisors to abide by in strategic placement around locations of off-campus trips. This also means managing large sums of money and distributing financial items to account for attending study body and advisor chaperones. Leading off-campus trips also makes the assistant head the main contact in an emergency situation arises whilst on a trip.

Coach 3 seasons, assistant dorm parent, weekend team, library duty, emergency driver, and advisor as well as teaching up to 3 different classes. Expected to be on call at all times to help accomplish the seven-day-a-week boarding school program.

The expected duties of an advisor of Wolfeboro Camp School includes but not limited to1. Ensuring student safety and well-being.2. Providing an adult presence and serve as a role model for all students.3. Setting a positive tone and promote a growth mindset.4. Ensuring that the quality of student life is consistent with the mission and objectives of theSchool.5. Assuming direct responsibility for 8-10 students (advisees) living immediately adjacent to eachAdvisor.6. Helping advisees develop and consistently practice effective organizational and time-managementskills and productive study habits.7. Maintaining a productive study atmosphere on campus during designated study hours and provideacademic support, as appropriate.8. Providing leadership, supervision, coaching and instruction for extracurricular activities,including sports, recreation, arts and off-campus trips.9. With guidance and role modeling from veteran faculty, serving as an Assistant Table Head in ourfamily-style dining hall, and heading a table in the absence of the regular Table Head.

• Responsibilities include, coaching, administrative duties and teaching.• Assist with and provide on field instruction during practices and games. Provide video analysis for match and practice sessions.• Provide academic support and monitor academic progress for student-athletes. Provide additional support for contest management as needed.• Assist with both on campus and off campus recruiting efforts. Coordinate campus recruiting visits for prospective student-athletes.• Assist physical education faculty members with classroom interaction. Assist with out of class project work required for PE credit.

I manage the non-academic lifestyle of eight students of Wolfeboro Camp School. I also evaluate both academic and non-academic behaviors of the students to whom I have been assigned.
