Field Service Manager
CurrentField Services Manager● Field Service Manager specialized in thin film deposition vacuum coaters for ophthalmic, precision optics, automotive & large area coating (web & glass coaters). ● Responsible for providing quality customer support in North, Central and South America with a budget of $5M and a Service team of 15 Field Service Engineers & 1 Service Coordinator.● Oversee and manage the sales of service products and services (SAP CRM software based) inclusive of training, upgrades, retrofits, overhauls, service contracts for preventive maintenance in the service of 24/7 customer operations. ● Implement, administer and report on cost controls. ● Develop and execute service programs for customers as well as internal staff. ● Coordinate regional Service team activities with the Sales and Projects teams as well as with Global corporate needs. ● Oversee and provide technical guidance for CS quotations and orders.● Staff development, evaluation (EPM software based), timesheets and time-off approvals, overtime management. ● Future staff recruitment and interview.
