I am committed to accelerating the learning process for individuals and organizations that leads to developing Mature CEOs. I’m also excited to share my business experience and coaching with goal driven leaders and managers. My focus is to integrate business and leadership concepts into a simple approach to gain effective and compelling results. I have found that sound principles and fundamental wisdom can be readily learned and applied for achievable success.A significant portion of my executive coaching work helps organizations and individuals to move up to the next level. For example, my current Succession Planning and Management activity involves three CEO’s as well as teaming with their Boards of Directors and others in these organizations. This is done by interviewing multiple individuals and integrating assessment inventory data. Inventories may include, but are not limited to: personality, motivation, emotional intelligence, leadership behavior, effectiveness ratings, and derailment risk factors. Qualities of a mature CEO include being strategic and results driven. One who is persevering and organizationally centric with appropriate leadership presence and humility. One who is bright, values driven and emotionally intelligent. Boards are demanding and this transition from COO to CEO is very challenging. Success mandates growth and maturity. I develop strong operational presidents for the promotable role of CEO. For some, this is a major shift. Focus is on Time Management, Strategic Thinking, Corporate Governance, Board Relations, and Team Building. My experience includes more than 25 years in coaching managers and executives in 20 plus industries, 15 years of Organizational Development in mid and large size businesses, and 25 years in teaching MBA & HRD students at USC, UCLA, CSULB and Claremont Graduate University. All this has led to a tool box of highly pragmatic business and leadership strategies.
