Project: Techless, a Texas-based startup selling minimalist smartphones (Wisephone) to families for reducing digital destruction. I set up the Techless branch in Pakistan and built a team of 20+ developers which I’m leading. I’m working on enhancing and maintaining the web architecture of the Techless family portal through which parents can control and monitor the smartphone use of their children. The Techless ecosystem is based on a serverless architecture and developed using Node.js and Angular. It is hosted on AWS using SAM, PostgreSQL & AWS Lambda. Optimized the web architecture including real-time syncing with mobile, data importing, checkout process, and took care of bug fixes, which resulted in increasing customer satisfaction and sales. Project: MediBookr is a US-based startup offering a navigation platform to streamline communication between patients and healthcare providers. The app is built on a microservices architecture using NodeJS and NextJS. I worked on a scrum team developing microservices using NodeJS, Amazon Kinesis and AWS Lambda. Built the entity management microservice from scratch which is connecting different hospitals to a database. Worked on the email and SMS notifications microservice additionally using Amazon SNS. Developed the audio & video calls feature using NextJS and implementing Amazon Chime. Worked on WebSockets to implement a chat feature to increase user accessibility. Optimized first paint time with NextJS pre-rendering feature (SSR). Integrated FCM Notifications using AWS serverless Lambda functions for notifying the users about updates. Project: Rijkspas app - Dutch government CRM-based application offering services (e.g. access management, visitor notification) to government employees. Led a scrum team of 4 developing the project’s architecture from scratch (backend application & mobile app, i.e. Android, iOS) using C#, .NET Core, Angular, Kotlin & Swift. Designed the architecture that includes integration with legacy applications (GCMS, IDT & communication with Native Apps). Project: airtango is a German tech startup offering a live streaming platform (24/7) that distributes live video content in sports, entertainment and travel, broadcast in gyms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I worked in an agile team developing backend REST API service and the frontend web app using Node.js, Express & React. I built the backend application (air platform core) from scratch and developed features including user, channel and content management with 70+ scalable APIs serving almost 500K devices including web app & mobile devices. Developed the webapp, implemented advertisement business logic (banner, video), content recommendation engine, and integrated custom airtango player. Project: Degree tracking system for IIUI Islamabad. I built a degree tracking system for my university from scratch with PHP, HTML, CSS & Javascript and integrated it into the existing university student portal. BTS(Business tracker system) is a company's internal CRM platform of Mott Macdonald,Pakistan to keep the record of businesses. Bts provide a secure online portal to view all the business proposal submitted by the company and the success/failure ratio of the proposal as well in tabular & graphical form. Bts was built on PHP, Html, CSS & MySQL. Built the portal singlehandedly in the record time of 3 months and deployed it on the company's Server.
