I worked at SunValley as an intern through the Vic and Margaret Ball scholarship program. I worked in all areas of production including shipping & packing, crop tending, flower picking, and plant propagation. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to live in a different part of the country while gaining valuable work experience. This internship complimented my education of Floriculture perfectly!

My Internship consisted of crop tending duties such as weeding, mulching, watering, pruning, deadheading, planting and bed prepping. I worked early mornings, Monday - Friday from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm throughout my summer with multiple senior horticulturalists and assistant horticulturalists. I was the rose garden intern at CBG so I primary worked in this section of the garden. It was such a great experience and I loved the job. Work didn't feel quite like work at CBG!
