At AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer and one of the top consumer goods producers, I am currently on the data side of a major digital transformation program (Aurora) as Chief Product Owner. My teams are responsible for the Data Management functions –data governance, master data & reference data management, data architecture, data quality, data integration, etc.— that will support new business capabilities.

I am currently managing a large SAP Digital Transformation project for Komatsu Brazil International, a subsidiary of the global leader in the mining and construction heavy equipment business, being responsible for the scope, budget, staffing, and overall solution quality, working closely with senior client managers in Brazil and Milwaukee, US.

My team applied big data technologies on the Amazon Web Services Cloud to deliver a data warehouse modernization project for Gerdau in the US.Before that, I was the Engagement Leader at Sompo Seguros, a multinational Insurance company, and designed a new governance model for Business Partners master data as a central part of their digital transformation strategy. The company had the biggest SAP ERP for Insurance instance running in South America at the time with over 5M business partners, and leveraged out-of-the-box integration with the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solution. Back in 2015, I had a 2-year engagement as a Senior Consultant in a strategic SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) project for Gerdau North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico). My team was also involved in a challenging SAP MDG project for Gerdau in Brazil, especially because of the synchronization with the previous SAP MDM solution – business processes and rules running on top of both SAP NetWeaver Java and ABAP stacks. It was the very first SAP MDG implementation in Brazil.

Since 2007, I am an official SAP NetWeaver Instructor for SAP Education Brazil. I took part in two different Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions delivered by SAP:– SAP NetWeaver Java; in Recife, 2007.– SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE); in Sao Paulo, 2008.

I was still working exclusively for Gerdau on its global Gerdau Template project.Starting as a Senior Consultant, I designed the Material master data management solution from scratch. After that, I took a leadership role in the SAP BPM & Master Data Management team and was in charge of the other projects (Products, Customers and Vendors), from requirement gathering to solution deployment.

At Ci&T, I participated in a smoothly SAP ECC implementation project and my job there was to coordinate the development of all SAP NetWeaver apps for the management of Customer, Vendors, and Products master data.

At BBKO – now Resource IT Solutions –, I worked exclusively with SAP NetWeaver platform, acting as an Architect and Senior Consultant in several implementation projects.

At CPM Braxis – now Capgemini – I worked in two different teams: The Application Delivery Group, developing enterprise-grade software for several customers in different platforms; and the Shared Knowledge Group, where I did special project-related tasks like architectural planning and review, proof of concepts, feasibility review and training material for other consultants.

N&A is a professional services company focused on engineering and technology. At this position, I had the opportunity to work closely to the business team, providing them with technology advice and software solutions.

At Netra – currently Avansys Tecnologia – I had my first experience in a large company. I was part of the Innovation Group and my job there was to develop a tool for the management of software projects based on methodologies from both PMI and CMMi. In this company, I developed some internal systems, performed some proof of concepts and worked with senior people. That environment was very interesting and funny to work on.
