TeaCup Lab is a user experience (UX) research agency that provides a wide range of UX research services to help companies understand their customers and optimize their products.🔑 Main Role Responsibilities/Challenges:◆ Provided end-to-end research services for a wide range of clients, including remote and in-person usability testing, heuristic and competitive analysis, user journey mapping, persona creation, surveys, market and trend research, or prototype evaluation.🔔 Main achievement: Developed strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously, each with unique requirements, timelines, and expectations.

Sidia - Instituto de Ciência e Tecnologia - is a research and development (R&D) institute founded by Samsung. It is located in Manaus, Brazil, and it is recognized for its expertise in advanced technologies such as 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR).🔑 Main Role Responsibilities/Challenges:◆ Entered the emerging mixed reality market with innovative research methodologies.◆ Provided training and mentorship to junior UX researchers, fostering a learning culture within the team.🔔 Main achievement: I implemented a comprehensive learning program for junior UX designers and researchers, featuring a series of expert-led talks, interactive workshops, and personalized mentoring sessions. Additionally, I spearheaded the creation of a repository of UX research materials and protocols, designed for 'out-of-the-box' use to streamline and optimize UX evaluation methods within the team.

As an independent contractor I worked for different research and consulting companies across Brazil like Mercedes Sanchez UX Research, User Intelligence or Ipsos Latam, doing social diagnosis and analysis of usability and user experience for different clients in the area of digital products and services.🔔 Main Achievements: Transitioning from academia to industry, I effectively reoriented my academic tools and conceptual knowledge to meet industry demands. This process honed my skills in synthesizing information, developing strategic vision, and achieving results. Since then, my adaptability and scientific approach have been instrumental in driving success and innovation within my roles.

Libresoft was a research group based at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. The group focused on the study of libre (free, open source) software development from different angles. 🔑 Main Role Responsibilities/Challenges: ◆ Contributed to the understanding of how libre software is developed and maintained and its significance from a social and economic perspective.🔔 Main achievements: As the sole anthropologist on a team of engineers and software developers, I successfully adapted to a highly technical environment and helped bridging the gap between diverse fields of knowledge. My ability to translate complex concepts and mediate between disciplines enhanced team collaboration and project outcomes.
