I have litigated and resolved ADA and return to work issues, including those involving state and federal leave laws. In addition to litigation I provide day to day employment advice including advising on all issues from proper interview questions to effectively terminating employees to minimize risk. I have extensive experience in handling audits brought by the EDD, DLSE, FLSA and other governmental agencies. I've appeared before the EEOC and DFEH and negotiated countless settlements. I am an experienced trial attorney and have participated in all forms of ADR. I am a skilled trainer and speaker and provide employment related training of all types. In addition to my legal practice I proactively help businesses avoid problems by providing coaching services including communication and leadership coaching. Effective communication and leadership skills can minimize a business's exposure to claims made by employees. Developing these skills through training and coaching is my passion.
