Creating proprietary Social Media Best Practices for MBA studentsWrites exclusive blog posts and resources for web-based CareerConnect programThe ultimate goal of my fellowship is to create best practices for utilizing social media in a career hunt. These best practices will then be published online at Chase Career Center's site, in hard copy at the Center itself, and on UConnect, the web-based career app for our MBA students. The fellowship has included both individual research and a collaborative effort on content creation.Practically, this assignment has resulted in the creation of several articles, updating older information, and a preliminary report on social media usage. Ultimately, it will culminate in a comprehensive white paper.My secondary position revolves largely around content creation for the web-based UConnect site for UMass MBA students, CareerConnect. This content takes the form of short- and long-form blog posts, company profiles, and advice columns. This fellowship will continue through the remainder of my first year at Isenberg.

As news, events, interview, and newsletter editor, I work with teams of writers to report all aspects of geek culture important to our audience. As Marketing Strategist, I work with another team member to better understand the brand we present to our readers, and how to create native, organic content which expands our user base and brand recognition while remaining loyal to the WWAC voice and mission.
