Bill Lahey is one of the leading environmental and land use attorneys in the United States. He has 30 years of experience handling complex environmental, energy and land use matters both domestically and in Chile, Belize, Bhutan and Poland. He has testified before Congress on proposed environmental legislation.Lahey has helped obtain key permits for numerous large scale projects including: a major LNG port developed by a Texas energy company; the expansion of the Salt Lake City Airport; and a multistate transmission line for National Grid. Lahey also worked with a prominent real estate developer on the permitting for one of the largest mixed use projects in New England.Lahey represents the towns of Concord, Dover, and Lexington and also serves as special counsel to other cities and towns in Massachusetts and across the country. More recently, Lahey and his A&K colleagues were retained by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to help establish a governance structure for this new agency.
